Shirley’s Coleslaw

Shirley’s sister developed this recipe and it apparently tastes just like A&W coleslaw.


  • 1/4 c mayonnaise
  • 1/4 c canola oil
  • 3 Tbsp Sugar (you can also use a sugar substitute like splenda or stevia)
  • 1 small cabbage, chopped (use both red and green cabbages for a colourful dish)
  • 1 large carrot, grated


Mix the mayonnaise, canola oil and sugar to make the dressing then pour over shredded salad mix. Serve chilled.
