Bagel Bread Pudding

Bagel Bread Pudding

This recipe is a great way to use up day-old bagels to turn into a comforting dessert.

Ingredients

  • cooking spray
  • 2 medium sized bagels
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup low cholesterol egg product, in liquid form
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Directions

  1. Spray a 1 1/2 quart (3 cups) baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. Break bagels into small pieces and place in baking dish.
  3. Mix together the milk, egg product, sugar and cinnamon.
  4. Pour over bagel pieces and set aside for a few minutes until the bagels absorb the liquid.
  5. Place in a 350 F oven for 30 minutes and bake until browned on top.
  6. Serve warm or cold.
