This recipe is a great way to use up day-old bagels to turn into a comforting dessert.
- cooking spray
- 2 medium sized bagels
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup low cholesterol egg product, in liquid form
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- Spray a 1 1/2 quart (3 cups) baking dish with cooking spray.
- Break bagels into small pieces and place in baking dish.
- Mix together the milk, egg product, sugar and cinnamon.
- Pour over bagel pieces and set aside for a few minutes until the bagels absorb the liquid.
- Place in a 350 F oven for 30 minutes and bake until browned on top.
- Serve warm or cold.
