Low-protein tuna-salad sandwich

Low-protein tuna-salad sandwich

The following recipe is a nice alternative for individuals on a low-protein diet. Additionally, this sandwich is low-potassium and low-phosphorus

Ingredients

2
slice white sandwich bread
1/4
can (1oz) canned low-sodium tuna, packed in water
1 tbsp
low-fat mayonnaise
1
leaf lettuce

Directions

1. Strain and rinse 1 ounce canned tuna.
2. Mix tuna with mayonnaise, and spread over 1 slice of bread
3. Top with 1 lettuce leaf and second slice of bread
