Crème Fraiche

Crème Fraiche 

Add this crème fraiche to your desert to elevate them to the next level.

Ingredients

1 cup
heavy cream (35 % MG)
2 tbsp
maple syrup
1 tbsp
lemon or lime juice
1
lemon or lime zest

Directions

Preparation time: 5 minutes 

Food safety tips:

  • Wash your hands with soap and warm water for at least 20 seconds.   
  • Clean all countertops and equipment used for food preparation.   

Preparation:

  • Pour heavy cream into a chilled stainless steel, glass, or ceramic bowl. 
  • Using a whisk or electric mixer, whip the cream for 2–5 minutes until soft peaks begin to form. 
  • Zest the lemon or lime and save for garnish. 
  • Add maple syrup and a squeeze of lemon or lime juice, then gently stir to combine.  
  • Top your favourite dessert and garnish with zest as desired. 
  • Store in an airtight container and refrigerate until ready to use.
