Food Safety Tips:
- Wash your hands with soap and warm water for at least 20 seconds.
- Clean all countertops and equipment used for food preparation.
Preparation:
- Using a food processor with blades, pulse the oats until the consistency is that of flour (you just made your own oat flour!).
- In a large mixing bowl, mash the bananas into a puree.
- Add the remaining ingredients to the bowl, and blend until a dough forms.
- Shape the dough into bite-sized balls and sprinkle with seeds or cinnamon.
Tip: You can also use this batter to make energy bars. However, you need to spread batter on baking sheet and bake at 375°F for about 30 minutes until golden brown. Then cut the bars or break the cooked sheet up into portions.
