Chickpea Blondie Bites

Chickpea Blondie Bites

Blondies are dessert bites similar to brownies but often without cocoa or chocolate. Here, we keep the chocolaty touch.

Ingredients

1 cup
Chickpea
1 tsp
White vinegar
0.25 cup
Unsweetened applesauce
1 tbsp
Vanilla extract
2 tbsp
Maple syrup
1/3 cup
Large flake oats
1/4 tsp
Baking soda
1/8 tsp
Ground cinnamon
2 tbsp
Chocolate chips

Directions

Preparation: 10 minutes 

Cooking: 15 minutes 

Servings: 6 peices

Food Safety Tips:

  •  Wash hands with soap and warm water for at least 20 seconds.   
  • Clean all countertops and equipment used for food preparation.   
  • Gently rinse all produce under cool running water. 
  • Use separate equipment for handling raw food and cooked food. 

Preparation:

  • Pre-heat: Standard Oven to {350°F/180°C} or Convection Oven to {300°F/150°C}. 
  • In a food processor, combine all ingredients except chocolate chips. Mix until well blended. 
  • Remove batter from food processor and fold in chocolate chips. 
  • Spray mini muffin pans with non-stick spray. Portion batter into 12 compartments. 
  • Bake: 15-20 minutes 
  • Cool and place in serving container.
