If you start your meal plan on Sunday, you can take advantage of extra time on the weekend to prepare food for the week, such as muffins or roasts. This high protein meal plan will ensure you have the renal nutrition you need, while also providing a good diversity of recipes using similar ingredients so you are not running to the store to buy multiple products over and over again.

Preparation: 1) Place cranberry sauce in a 1-quart saucepan along with water, orange and ginger 2) Bring to a simmer and stir over low heat for 3 minutes. 3) Serve with meat immediately or chill and store in refrigerator.

This recipe originally called for Snapper, a fish naturally high in Potassium. Instead we used Tilapia which is higher in protein and much lower in potassium. Use fresh Tilapia for the best results.
