Happy Summer!

Summer can be a particularly hard time to be on a renal diet, especially if you need to follow a potassium restriction.  As all the fresh fruits and vegetables come into season it is so easy to indulge in the plentiful and fresh foods in your garden, at farmer’s markets and roadside stands. Staying Safe

As a dietitian, I have the opportunity to learn about an incredible variety of foods and ways of eating that I had never conceived of before. Some time ago I was chatting with a gentleman in the grocery store line who described to me what he was planning to make for dinner.
